Bunnell, FL (October 1, 2018) - Six people suffered injuries in a four-vehicle crash on US 1 in Bunnell. The crash happened on Monday, October 1st around 1:00 pm.
According to eyewitnesses, a burgundy Chevy Equinox was traveling south on US 1 when it attempted to make a U-turn. As the Equinox attempted to turn, the rear of the vehicle remained partially in the roadway.
At the same time, a black Chevy Silverado traveling south came upon the Equinox. The Silverado driver attempted to avoid a collision with the Equinox but instead traveled across the median and into the northbound lanes. While in the northbound lane, the Silverado crashed into a U-Haul. The Silverado, which was carrying ladders, was also pulling a trailer. The trailer collided with the front end of the Equinox. Finally, a silver Mercedes crashed into the Silverado once it came to a stop.
In total, six people were hospitalized in the crash. The full extent of injuries has not been released by police. There is no additional information available.
