Callaway, FL (September 10, 2018) - A hit-and-run accident left several people hurt on Saturday in Callaway. Around 5;30 pm, a truck collided with an SUV at the intersection of Cherry Street and South Comet Avenue.
Following the crash, the truck driver, 23 year old Michael Thomas Lavallee fled the scene on foot. Lavallee was chased and later apprehended by officers. He is now in the Bay County Jail facing several charges.
Multiple people were hurt in the crash, including one who is listed in critical condition. There is no word on the cause of the crash at this time.
