Florida is home to many bodies of water and boating is a favorite activity for many people in our state. With this, however, comes the risks associated with being on the water. In 2018, Florida led the nation in reported boating accidents with 607. Of this number, there were 57 deaths and nearly 300 injuries. Boaters should always remember to exercise care and caution and should follow all laws and safety regulations to avoid the occurrence of a serious and potentially life-changing Florida boating accident.
Our condolences are with the injured boater and their family following this Cape Canaveral boat crash.
