When we think of serious and fatal accidents, we normally think of cars and other traditional vehicles. However, other types of crashes do occur each day across our state. This includes bicycle crashes. Each year, about 100 people are killed in Florida bicycle accidents and many more are injured. Drivers must always remain alert for the presence of bicyclists on the roadway and should use care and caution at all times in order to avoid a catastrophic accident.
Our most sincere thoughts and condolences go out to the victim's family following this bicycle crash in Cape Coral.
