Cape Coral, FL (December 2, 2018) - Cape Coral police responded to a serious crash at the intersection of Pondella Road and Hibiscus Drive around 10:53 am on Saturday, December 1st.
Police were called to the scene of the crash in reference to an accident with injuries. Upon officers' arrival, they located at least one person suffering from life-threatening injuries caused by the crash. The person was rushed by EMS to a local hospital. There is no further update on their condition or the extent of their injuries at this time.
A crash investigation team along with a forensic unit and a victim advocate were all present on-site following the accident. The team of experts is still working to determine what caused the crash and who might be responsible. The identity of the injured victim has not been released at this time and there are currently no further details available.
