Broward County, FL - Two Teenagers Killed in Car Accident on State Road 7

Two teenagers were killed and three others injured in a single-car crash that took place in Broward County on Saturday, July 4th. The accident happened in Tamarac just before 1:00 a.m. Police and rescue workers responded to the southbound lanes of State Road 7 in response to the crash. According to reports, a 17-year-old female was driving on SR 7 when her car veered off the roadway and struck a concrete pole. The car was split into two pieces. The driver was killed in the crash, along with a 14-year-old passenger. Three other passengers, ranging in age from 14 to 16, were taken to a hospital where they were listed in serious condition. Marion County, FL - Alexander Diaz Killed in Crash Along County Road 484

A pickup truck passenger died when the vehicle in which he was riding went off the roadway in Marion County on Saturday, November 16th. The crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. near County Road 484. Police say that 27-year-old Christian Dones-Solis was operating a 2002 Toyota Tacoma northbound on CR 484. The truck was towing a minivan when, for unknown reasons, it left the roadway. The minivan separated from the truck and the truck rolled over after veered off the road. Diaz, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the truck. Rescue workers arrived on scene around 4:05 p.m. and pronounced Diaz dead a short time later. Both the driver and a second passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
