A cyclist was hit and killed by a car in Fort Lauderdale on Monday, September 16th. The crash took place around 3:00 p.m. on Southwest 12th Avenue near the intersection with West Broward Boulevard. According to officers, a white Nissan crossover struck the bicyclist. The bicyclist was killed as a result of the crash but police have not released their identity at this time. Pompano Beach, FL - Bicyclist Dies in Crash with Vehicle on Friday Evening

A 43-year-old man was killed when his bicycle collided with a car in Pompano Beach on Friday, September 13th. The crash took place in the 100 block of Powerline Road. According to deputies with the Broward County Sheriff's Office, Walter Carter was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a 2019 Ford Transit Connect. Carter was attempting to cross the road from west to east when the crash took place. He was rushed to Broward Health North where he was later pronounced dead. Bradenton, FL- Bicyclist Killed in Crash on Cortez Road

A bicyclist was killed in a crash that took place in Bradenton on Thursday, September 5th. The crash happened in the 2300 block of Cortez Road around 10:00 a.m. According to authorities, the 65-year-old bicyclist attempted to cross Cortez from south to north when he was struck by a Lexus IS 350 driven by a 19-year-old man from Bradenton. The Lexus driver attempted to avoid the accident but was unsuccessful. The bicyclist was rushed to Blake Medical Center where he died from his injuries. Vero Beach, FL - Female Bicyclist Hospitalized After Being Hit by Vehicle

A woman was hit by a car while riding her bicycle in Vero Beach on Wednesday, August 21st. The crash took place in the 5900 block of 20th Street, according to the Indian River County Fire Rescue. The woman was taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in unknown condition following the crash. Her identity has not been revealed at this time. One person inside the vehicle was evaluated for minor injuries but refused medical treatment. Charlotte County, FL - Child Struck by Car While Riding Bicycle

A child riding a bicycle was hit by a car in Charlotte County on Wednesday, August 14th. The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. in the 4000 block of Beaver Lane. According to police, a vehicle was leaving a parking lot and drove across a sidewalk, striking the 8-year-old girl on her bicycle. The crash knocked the girl off of the bicycle. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Miami Beach, FL - Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Trolley on 65th Street

A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a trolley in Miami Beach. The crash occurred around 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13th, at the intersection of 65th Street and Indian Creek Drive. Police responded to the crash scene to investigate. According to Miami Beach Officer Ernesto Rodriguez, the motorcycle appeared to be traveling northbound when it crashed into the trolley that was traveling southbound. Police believe that the trolley was attempting to make a left-hand turn at the time of the accident. Alachua County, FL - Bicyclists Taken to Hospital with Injuries Following Hit-and-Run

Two bicyclists were hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash that took place in Alachua County on Tuesday, August 13th. Police say that the bicyclists were riding on Northwest 46th Avenue around 7:00 p.m. when they were struck by a vehicle. The vehicle, which police describe as a Honda or Toyota, was traveling westbound on Northwest 46th when the crash happened. A 28-year-old female bicyclist suffered critical injuries, while a 39-year-old female bicyclist sustained minor injuries. The vehicle driver fled the scene traveling northwest on County Road 235. Daytona Beach, FL - Bicyclist Hit and Killed After Falling Into Traffic

A bicyclist died after falling off of his bicycle and into oncoming traffic in Daytona Beach. The crash took place on Saturday, July 27th, around 3:00 p.m. Police responded to International Speedway Boulevard in response to the crash. Once on-scene, police identified the bicyclist as 37-year-old Coy Thomas Malone. Investigators determined that Malone was riding his bicycle when the chain became loose. As he stood up to pedal faster, he lost control of the bike and fell into the roadway. Malone was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The vehicle then ran over Malone and his bicycle. Malone was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. No one else was injured and the driver has not been identified. Read More

Jacksonville, FL - Bicyclist Hurt in Crash on Northside

A bicyclist in Jacksonville suffered injuries in a crash with a vehicle on Monday, July 29th.
