St. Lucie County, FL - 30-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash on US 1

A 30-year-old man from Port St. Lucie died after being involved in a crash with another vehicle on US 1. The crash took place on Monday, October 14th around 7:20 p.m. According to reports, Logan Daily was driving a 2000 Honda Civic that collided with a 2017 Toyota Camry, driven by 88-year-old Robert Davis. Police say that Davis was attempting to turn left onto Brazilian Circle from US 1 when he struck the side of Daily's car. Following the crash, Daily was taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute, where he was pronounced dead. Davis suffered serious injuries in the crash. Read More

Starke, FL - Mother and 3-Year-Old Son Killed in Head-On Crash

A tragic head-on crash in Starke left a mother and her 3-year-old son dead. The crash happened on Sunday, October 13th around 6:00 a.m. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene at State Road 100 and Southeast 14th Avenue. According to reports, 29-year-old Shelby Rosenthal was in a Ford Minivan that crossed the center line and struck a Dodge pickup truck. The driver of the Dodge suffered minor injuries while Rosenthal and her son were killed in the crash. Police have not said what caused the crash to occur at this time. Read More

Jacksonville, FL - Six Hurt in Multi-Car Crash on Atlantic Boulevard

Six people were taken to area hospitals in a crash that occurred on Atlantic Boulevard in Jacksonville. The accident occurred on Sunday, October 13th. The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department along the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. Rescue workers say that a car was traveling eastbound when it collided with another vehicle in the eastbound lanes. After the initial impact, the car went into the westbound lanes and crashed into other vehicles. The six injured victims all had serious injuries. Indian River County, FL - Five-Car Crash on I-95 Sends Three Adults and Child to Hospital

Five cars were involved in a crash on I-95 in Indian River County on Sunday, October 13th. The accident was reported around 4:30 p.m. The Indian River County Fire Rescue responded to the scene. According to Battalion Chief Kyle Kofke, an injured child was airlifted to St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach. Three adults were also hurt in the crash and taken to area hospitals. Miami Gardens, FL - Driver in Critical Condition After Crashing Into Canal

A woman suffered critical injuries in a three-vehicle crash in Miami Gardens on Sunday, October 13th. The accident took place at the intersection of Northwest 27th Avenue and Northwest 203rd Street. According to reports, a Lexus SUV and Jeep collided with one another. The Lexus then crashed through a chain-link fence and hit a third vehicle before veering into a canal. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol and rescue workers arrived on scene and attempted to free the driver. The vehicle was completely submerged by the time authorities arrived. Bradenton, FL - At Least 1 Dead in Fatal Crash on Cortez Road

At least one person is dead following a crash on Cortez Road in Bradenton. The crash took place on Monday, October 14th around 4:00 p.m. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene near Independence Drive. Police have not said how the accident took place. The westbound lanes of the roadway were blocked as authorities remained at the scene. A passenger in one of the vehicles suffered critical injuries. A rollover crash in Cape Coral sent two people to the hospital on Saturday, October 12th. The crash happened on Pelican Boulevard. According to reports from the scene, a black sedan was traveling southbound on Pelican at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle near the intersection with the Mohawk Parkway. The car continued traveling several hundred feet over the northbound lanes of Pelican before it rolled over and crashed into a berm near the Pelican Soccer Complex. Read More

Clearwater, FL - At Least 1 Hurt in Wrong-Way Crash on Courtney Campbell Causeway

At least one person sustained injuries following a wrong-way crash on the Courtney Campbell Causeway. The crash was reported on Saturday, October 12th around 3:22 a.m. Police say that 19-year-old Conner Josef Hall of Safety Harbor, FL was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of the Causeway when his car collided with a vehicle head-on. Following the initial impact, two other vehicles were also struck. Officers administered field sobriety tests at the scene and determined that Hall was under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and taken to the hospital before being booked into jail on charges of Driving Under the Influence. Bradenton, FL - 55-Year-Old Motorcyclist in Critical Condition Following Hit-and-Run Crash

A 55-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after being involved in a hit-and-run crash in Bradenton. The accident took place on Friday, October 11th around 7:30 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the crash scene on State Road 70 near 53rd Avenue West. According to troopers, the woman was riding a motorcycle when she was rear-ended by a white Chevrolet van. The driver of the van stopped momentarily before fleeing the crash scene. Davenport, FL - Intoxicated Man Strikes Bicyclist Causing Critical Injuries

A bicyclist was hit by an intoxicated driver in Davenport causing serious injuries. The crash occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11th. Authorities report that 62-year-old Donald Jones rear-ended a vehicle and left the scene. As Jones fled the crash, he collided with a 36-year-old bicyclist. The bicyclist suffered critical injuries in the crash, including a brain bleed, a collapsed lung, and two broken femurs. Jones got out of his vehicle and, according to witnesses, appeared to be impaired. When police arrived on scene, they conducted further tests and determined that Jones was under the influence.
