A 59-year-old man from St. Petersburg is dead after he was hit while riding his bicycle in Pinellas Park on Friday, May 22nd. The crash took place just after 10:00 p.m. on 118th Avenue North. According to officials, the man was traveling eastbound on 118th Avenue. At the same time, a vehicle was also traveling eastbound on the same road. For unknown reasons, the car and the bicycle collided with one another. The bicyclist, who has not been identified, died at the crash scene. Charlotte County, FL - Man Killed in Two-Car Crash on State Road 776

A man from Punta Gorda died in a two-vehicle crash in Charlotte County on Friday. The crash occurred along State Road 776 near the intersection with Toledo Boulevard. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 75-year-old man was traveling westbound near the intersection. At the same time, a second vehicle was traveling eastbound, also approaching the same intersection. The man attempted to make a left turn but collided with the other vehicle. The first vehicle left the roadway and struck a traffic utility box. The second vehicle also left the roadway and rolled over before coming to rest. Dade City, FL - Customer and Employee Hurt when Car Crashes into Publix on US 301

Two people sustained injuries when a car crashed into a Publix liquor store in Dade City. The crash happened on Saturday around 2:00 p.m. Police responded to the store at 11798 U.S. 301 shortly after the incident occurred. Officers say that a 79-year-old woman driving a minivan crashed through the store's front wall, striking a customer and an employee. There is no word on what caused the woman's vehicle to travel through the building. A store employee suffered an arm laceration and upper body injuries while a female customer sustained injuries from glass and debris. Both were taken to Lakeland Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the minivan was also transported with undisclosed injuries. Read More

Gilchrist County, FL - 23-Year-Old Woman Killed in Truck Crash on State Road 26

A 23-year-old woman is dead after a crash involving three trucks in Gilchrist County. The crash happened on Thursday, May 21st in the eastbound lanes of State Road 26. The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene shortly after the collision took place. According to SHP, the female victim was a passenger in a truck that was towing another truck on a chain. Suddenly, the truck that was being towed left its travel lane, crossed over the center line and collided with a truck that was pulling a trailer. Indian River County, FL - One Killed, One Seriously Hurt in Crash on I-95

A driver was killed and a passenger suffered serious injuries in a crash that took place in Indian River County on Thursday. The incident was reported on I-95. According to a report, a 27-year-old man from West Palm Beach was traveling in a pickup truck on I-95 when he lost control of the truck. The vehicle skidded across the road before rolling over several times and hitting a tree. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His 19-year-old passenger was critically injured. Ocala, FL - Driver Extricated Following Rollover Crash on 30th Avenue

The Ocala Fire Rescue responded to the scene of a rollover accident on SE 30th Avenue near Maricamp Road on Wednesday, May 20th. The crash took place around 3:30 p.m. When officials arrived at the scene they located two vehicles, a silver convertible, and a blue SUV, that a had been involved in the crash. There were no occupants in either vehicle other than the drivers. The driver of the SUV was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. The convertible driver was not injured. Seminole County, FL - 49-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Celery Avenue

A 49-year-old man from Deltona was killed in a motorcycle crash in Seminole County. The crash was reported around 10:25 a.m. at the intersection of Celery Avenue and Lake Mary Boulevard. According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a Kia Sorrento was at a stop sign on Celery Avenue when the driver attempted to make a left turn onto Lake Mary Boulevard. As the SUV turned, it proceeded directly into the path of a motorcycle. The motorcycle collided with the left side of the Kia. Naples, FL - Man Killed in Bicycle Crash on Vineyards Boulevard

A man from Naples was killed in a bicycle crash that took place in Naples on Tuesday, May 19th. The crash happened just before 12:00 p.m. on Vineyards Boulevard near Vintage Reserve Circle. The Florida Highway Patrol reports that the 69-year-old bicyclist was traveling northbound on Vineyards when he collided with a van driven by a 44-year-old man from Lehigh Acres. The bicyclist, who has not been identified, was taken to Physician's Regional Hospital where he later died. The driver of the van was not injured in the crash.
