Gibsonton, FL - Motorcyclist Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-75 at Gibsonton Drive

A 35-year-old man from Tampa was charged with DUI manslaughter after a crash on I-75 near Gibsonton Road on Monday, September 16th. The crash took place around 1:00 a.m. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Frank Joseph Fisher was traveling southbound on I-75 in a Ford F250 when he rear-ended a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle, 23-year-old Chad Taylor Cagley, was thrown from the bike before it burst into flames. Cagley died at the scene of the crash. Mulberry, FL - Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with SUV on Tuesday

A motorcycle was involved in a deadly crash with an SUV on Tuesday, September 17 in Mulberry. The accident took place on State Road 60 near Pine Grove Road around 5:55 a.m. According to reports, 22-year-old Lance Strickland was driving a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on SR 60. When Strickland came to the intersection with Pine Grove Road, an SUV turned into the intersection, causing the vehicle to collide with Strickland's bike. Strickland crashed into the front passenger door of the SUV. He was pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the accident. North Fort Myers, FL - Motorcyclist Hurt in Monday Rear-End Crash

A crash in North Fort Myers left a motorcyclist with serious injuries on Monday, September 16th. The crash happened on Bayshore Road near I-75. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Gregory Serena was driving a 2002 Chevy southbound, near I-75. Serena came upon stopped traffic and failed to slow his vehicle. He collided with the rear-end of a motorcycle driven by 62-year-old Jeffrey T. Zatloukal of North Fort Myers. Zatloukal was thrown from his bike following the crash. Cape Coral, FL - Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Skyline Boulevard

A motorcycle rider was killed after crashing into a minivan in Cape Coral on Thursday, September 5th. The accident occurred on Skyline Boulevard near SW 37th Street. Police say that 48-year-old Matthew Girard was riding his motorcycle northbound on Skyline. Girard attempted to make a left turn onto SW 37th when he collided with a southbound minivan driven by Sarah Ann Conley. Girard was thrown off his motorcycle and landed approximately 30 feet from the crash site. Rescue workers pronounced him dead at the scene. Neither Conley nor her two passengers were injured. Manatee County, FL - UPDATE: Motorcyclist in Sunday Crash Dies from Injuries

A Bradenton man who was involved in a motorcycle crash on Sunday, September 1st has now died from his injuries. The crash originally occurred around 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 70 and First Street East. Police say that Floyd David Lee Laycock, 26, was riding a Suzuki GSX-R in the left lane of SR 70. At the same time, a 23-year-old unidentified driver was driving a 2019 Hyundai Elantra that was stopped at a stop sign in the intersection. The Elantra driver turned into the roadway and failed to see Lacock's oncoming motorcycle, causing a crash between the two vehicles. Pasco County, FL - Keysean Jeremiah Williams Killed in Motorcycle Crash on State Road 54

An 18-year-old motorcyclist was tragically killed in a crash that took place on State Road 54. The crash occurred on Sunday, September 2nd around 11:15 a.m. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene near Boyette Road. Following an investigation, troopers determined that Keysean Jeremiah Williams, of Wesley Chapel, FL was driving a 2016 Suzuki GSXR 600 westbound on SR 54. At the same time, 71-year-old John Raymond Ruper was driving 2006 Dodge Caravan, also westbound on SR 54. Ruper had just turned out of the parking lot of an auto parts store when he tried to make a lane change in front of Williams. Bradenton, FL - Motorcyclist Critically Hurt in Crash on State Road 70

A 26-year-old motorcyclist suffered critical injuries following a traffic crash in Bradenton on Sunday, September 1st. The accident happened around 10:00 p.m. on State Road 70. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, Floyd Lacock was driving his motorcycle westbound on SR 70. Lacock was in the left lane, near 1st Street East when a car driven by 23-year-old Robert Pusey attempted a left-hand turn. Hillsborough County, FL - Two Motorcyclists Killed in Crash on Gunn Highway

Two motorcyclists were killed in a crash that took place in Hillsborough County over the weekend. The accident took place on Sunday, August 25th around 6:00 am. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, deputies received a report of two deceased victims on the shoulder of the road. When they arrived on the scene, authorities located the two individuals. Further investigation revealed that the victims were riding a motorcycle just prior to the crash when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. Belle Terre, FL - Palm Coast Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash with Pickup Truck

A 56-year-old man from Palm Coast was killed when his motorcycle collided with a truck on Sunday, August 25th. The crash took place on Ponce de Leon Boulevard near Belle Terre Parkway. Police arrived on the scene around 8:45 pm. Officers say that Stewart was traveling northbound on Belle Terre when a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup truck made a left turn onto Ponce de Leon. The driver of the Ram has been identified as 71-year-old Joseph Michael Scarpone. As the truck made its turn, the motorcycle slammed into the right rear of the vehicle before ending up in the median following impact. Cape Coral, FL - Victim in Fatal Motorcycle Crash Identified

A woman involved in a fatal motorcycle crash in Cape Coral has been identified by police. The crash initially occurred on Saturday, August 17th, at the intersection of Mohawk Parkway and Chiquita Boulevard. Police say that 52-year-old Karen Wynn was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by 55-year-old Douglas A. Wynn, of Port Charlotte. The crash took place when a Toyota Tacoma pulled directly into the path of Wynn's motorcycle, forcing the motorcycle to collide with the back of the Tacoma. Karen Wynn was ejected and traveled over the Tacoma before landing in the roadway. She was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital, where she remained for several days before passing away on Thursday, August 22nd. Read More
