Fort Pierce, FL - Thomas Wilke Identified as Victim in Fatal Wednesday Motorcycle Crash

The victim of a fatal motorcycle accident in Fort Pierce has been identified by authorities. The crash originally took place on Wednesday, May 27th around 12:30 p.m. According to a report, 25-year-old Thomas Wilke was riding his motorcycle on Seaway Drive near the intersection with Colonnades Drive. As he proceeded on Seaway, a driver suddenly exited a shopping center, striking Wilke's motorcycle. Wilke was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Martin County, FL - Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Jensen Boulevard

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Jensen Beach Boulevard in Martin County. The crash took place on Friday, May 29th. Police and rescue officials responded to the scene near US 1 and Britt Road. According to reports, the motorcyclist died at the crash scene. The identity of the deceased victim has not been released at this time. It is not clear how the crash took place or if there were any other injuries. Pasco County, FL - 28-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Hudson Avenue

A 28-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash that took place in Pasco County on Wednesday, May 27th. The crash happened at the intersection of Hudson Avenue and Clayton Boulevard. Officers report that the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Hudson when he was hit by a sedan that turned directly into his path. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital where he later died. The driver, a 68-year-old man from Hudson, did not sustain any injuries. Cocoa Beach, FL - Philip Glazier Airlifted Following Motorcycle Crash on State Road A1A

A 61-year-old motorcyclist was flown to a hospital after a crash in Cocoa Beach on Saturday, May 23rd. The crash took place around 3:30 p.m. on State Road A1A. According to authorities, 61-year-old Philip Glazier was riding a Harley-Davidson southbound on SR A1A. At the same time, 49-year-old Christopher Peacock was operating a 2015 Chevy Camaro, traveling northbound. Peacock attempted to make a left turn onto Escambia Highway but turned directly into the path of the motorcycle. Rescue workers arrived on the scene shortly after the collision. Glazier was flown to Holmes Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries. There were no other injuries reported. Read More

Seminole County, FL - 49-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Celery Avenue

A 49-year-old man from Deltona was killed in a motorcycle crash in Seminole County. The crash was reported around 10:25 a.m. at the intersection of Celery Avenue and Lake Mary Boulevard. According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a Kia Sorrento was at a stop sign on Celery Avenue when the driver attempted to make a left turn onto Lake Mary Boulevard. As the SUV turned, it proceeded directly into the path of a motorcycle. The motorcycle collided with the left side of the Kia. The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, died at the scene of the crash. The Kia overturned, leaving the 42-year-old driver with serious injuries. Two children inside the vehicle were not hurt. Pinellas County, FL - Motorcyclist and Passenger Seriously Hurt in Tire Blowout Crash

A motorcyclist and a passenger suffered serious injuries in a crash that took place in Pinellas County on Saturday. The crash was first reported around 1:00 p.m. on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene near mile marker 12 on I-275. According to reports, a 72-year-old man from St. Petersburg was riding his motorcycle when a rear tire blew out, causing him to lose control of the bike. The motorcycle then overturned and ejected the man along with his 57-year-old female passenger. Both riders were wearing helmets when the crash occurred. Lehigh Acres, FL - 17-Year-Old Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Arthur Avenue

A 17-year-old is dead following a motorcycle crash in Lehigh Acres on Saturday, May 16th. The crash was reported on Arthur Avenue near the intersection with Connecticut Road. Police say that the teen was riding his motorcycle westbound on Arthur Avenue near the intersection. At the same time, a 25-year-old man was driving an SUV eastbound on Arthur, also approaching the intersection. As the SUV attempted to make a left turn onto Connecticut, it collided with the oncoming motorcycle. The 17-year-old was struck by the vehicle and died as a result of his injuries. Deland, FL - Motorcyclist Killed in Saturday Crash on Dover Avenue

A 75-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash that took place in Deland on Saturday, May 9th. The crash happened on Dover Lane near North Woodland Boulevard. According to a report, an unidentified 73-year-old male was driving a sedan on Dover when he attempted to make a turn onto Woodland Boulevard. As he made the turn, the man collided with another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. The second vehicle then swerved across a median and into oncoming traffic before striking the motorcycle head-on. The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. The two drivers sustained minor injuries. Read More
