Leesburg, FL - Jo Ann Taylor Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Pine Street

A 60-year-old woman is dead after being hit by two vehicles on Pine Street. The crash took place on Friday, March 22nd. Police say that Jo Ann Taylor was walking along Pine Street, near the intersection with Knott Street when she was struck by a 2006 Honda. Taylor was knocked over from the force of the collision. While she was lying in the roadway, several people came to her aid. At about the same time, a 2000 Saturn coupe struck both Taylor and 64-year-old June Griffin. Jacksonville, FL - Pedestrian Struck, Killed On Lenox Avenue

Police are investigating following a crash on Lenox Avenue that left a pedestrian dead. The crash took place on Saturday, March 24th around 10:00 pm. According officers with the Jacksonville Police Department, a man was walking along the road near the intersection with Old Middleburg Road when he was struck by a pickup truck. After impact, the driver of the pickup called police and remained at the crash scene until investigators arrived. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Hillsborough County, FL - 17-Year-Old with Life-Threatening Injuries Following Crash

A 17-year-old pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash involving a vehicle on Saturday, March 23rd. The accident occurred in Hillsborough County on Providence Lakes Road, near Gornto Lake Road. The pedestrian was riding a skateboard when she collided with a Volkswagen Passat traveling on Providence Lakes. The girl was taken to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition. She sustained life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Passat stayed at the scene following the crash and cooperated with authorities. Martin County, FL - Student Injured After Being Struck by Car on Wednesday

An elementary school student was injured after being struck by a car on Wednesday, March 20th. The crash happened around 7:00 a.m. on Indian Street, at the intersection with Southeast Willoughby Boulevard. According to deputies, the student was riding his bicycle across the street when he was struck by a car driven by Edwin Rodriguez-Castro. Lakeland, FL - 6-Year-Old Boy Struck by Vehicle on Monday Afternoon

The Polk Fire Rescue responded to a pedestrian crash involving a 6-year-old boy on Monday, March 18th. The incident happened just after 4:00 p.m. on Marla Avenue. Details are scarce concerning this accident. Rescue workers say that the boy was struck by a vehicle in the area. A medical helicopter arrived on the scene shortly after the collision and transported the boy to Tampa General Hospital. At this time, there is no update on his condition or the extent or severity of his injuries. It is not known what caused the crash to occur or whether police believe that the driver was at fault. St. Petersburg, FL - Pedestrian Critically Hurt in Collision on Fourth Street

A pedestrian suffered critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Fourth Street South. The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 17th. The St. Petersburg Police Department responded to the 200 block of Fourth Street in reference to the incident. Investigators found that the pedestrian was running across the street when he was struck by a 2009 Chevrolet Impala. Tampa, FL - Derrick Cunningham Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle Saturday Night

A 41-year-old pedestrian is dead after he was hit by a vehicle in Tampa on Saturday, March 16th. Police say that the incident occurred on Starkey Road, near Park Boulevard, just before 1:30 a.m. Derrick Cunningham was attempting to cross Starkey Road in the westbound direction when he was struck by a 2018 Mazda 3. Cunningham was not in a crosswalk at the time he was hit by the vehicle. The driver of the Mazda, a 21-year-old, sustained no injuries in the crash. Port Richey, FL - Pedestrian Killed in Friday Crash on Ridge Road

A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle on Friday, March 15th. The crash took place around 10:00 p.m., at the intersection of Ridge Road and Custom Boulevard. The Florida Highway Patrol arrived at the crash scene to investigate. According to troopers, 56-year-old Donna Goldberg was walking along the roadway when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Steven Durfee, 69. Saint Augustine, FL - Pedestrian Killed in Early Morning Crash on State Road 207

A Saint Augustine man is dead after being hit by a truck on Thursday, March 14th. The fatal crash took place around 6:55 a.m. on State Road 207. According to reports, 43-year-old Charles Butler was traveling eastbound on SR-207 in a 2018 Nissan Titan pickup truck. At the same time, an unidentified pedestrian was attempting to cross the road and walking northbound when he was struck by the front right side of the truck. Orlando, FL - 24-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Early Morning Crash

A 24-year-old woman from Orlando was killed after she attempted cross SR-535 in the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 12th. The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was walking in a crosswalk at the state road around 3:00 a.m. when she was struck by a van. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene and the woman was airlifted by a medical helicopter to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
