Orange County, FL - Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Colonial Drive

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Orange County on Saturday, January 12th. According to reports, the crash took place at the intersection of Colonial Drive and Lake Downey Drive. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to investigate the incident. The pedestrian sustained critical injuries in the crash and was later pronounced dead. An 87-year-old pedestrian was tragically killed after being struck by a car on Saturday, January 12th in St. Augustine. Police report that Alwin Hoffman was standing in a lane along State Road 16 and Fortier Road near the Outlet Mall when the collision took place. Seminole County, FL - James Apicella Killed in Pedestrian Accident

A 70-year-old man was killed by a vehicle as he attempted to cross the street in Seminole County on Monday, January 7th. James Apicella attempted to cross International Parkway near the intersection with H.E. Thomas Parkway about 6:20 pm. While crossing, Apicella was struck by a 2011 BMW. Osceola County, FL - 52-Year-Old Woman Killed After Pedestrian Crash on Pleasant Hill Road

Authorities with the Florida Highway Patrol are looking into a pedestrian crash that took place on Sunday, January 6th. 52-year-old Dorothy Brown was attempting to cross Pleasant Hill Road near Sun Cove Drive. As she was walking across the road, she was struck by a Toyota driven by 19-year-old Luis Rivera. Brown was not in a crosswalk or intersection when she was struck. A 50-year-old man from Osprey died in a crash on US 41 on Monday morning, January 6th. Jeffrey Smith was walking along US 41 near South Tamiami Trail around 4:24 am. Smith was struck by an SUV driven by a 65-year-old man from Osprey. He sustained critical injuries and was later pronounced dead. The driver of the SUV has not been identified at this time. Seffner, FL - Manuel Raposo Killed After Being Run Over by Multiple Vehicles

A man died in Seffner after he was run over by multiple cars while walking along State Road 574. The incident happened on Friday, January 4th just after 6:30 pm. According to authorities, 44-year-old Manuel Raposo was walking in the left turn lane when he was struck by the passenger side mirror of an oncoming Volkswagen. Raposo fell into the road after being struck and was subsequently run over by two other vehicles. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died. Read More

Crescent City, FL - Pedestrian Dies of Injuries After Being Struck by Car on Union Avenue

A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle on Union Avenue in Crescent City. The accident took place just after 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 3rd. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the unnamed pedestrian was walking in the roadway when they were struck by a Ford Mustang. The pedestrian was thrown from the road onto a grass shoulder due to the impact of the collision. The driver of the Mustang stopped to call 911. Spring Hill, FL - Edward Lugo Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Spring Hill Drive

A 53-year-old pedestrian is dead following a crash in Spring Hill on Wednesday, January 2nd. Edward Lugo was attempting to cross Spring Hill Road around 7:00 pm. As he was walking north across the roadway, he was struck by a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by 66-year-old Theresa Alagna. Alagna and a passenger, 72-year-old Carol Strange, sustained minor injuries. Osceola County, FL - Pedestrian Killed in Collision on Buenaventura Boulevard

A pedestrian is dead following a crash on Buenaventura Boulevard near Osceola Parkway. The incident took place around 6:25 pm on Wednesday, January 2nd. According to a report, a pedestrian was traveling eastbound in an attempt to walk across Buenaventura Boulevard. At the same time, a vehicle traveling southbound on Buenaventura struck the pedestrian as they walked into the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Ocala, FL - Pedestrian Identified in Fatal New Year’s Eve Crash

Authorities have identified a pedestrian who died in a crash on New Year's Eve. 61-year-old Gary D. Allen, of Ocala, was killed as he walked along US Highway 441 at approximately 7:50 pm on Monday. Police say that Allen was struck by a 2006 Toyota Camry that was operated by 62-year-old Walter E. Martin. Martin told officers that he did not see Allen before striking him.
