Naples, FL - 2 Killed in Rollover Crash on I-75

A rollover crash in Naples claimed the lives of two women on Wednesday, November 27th. The crash was reported around 12:45 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 75. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, 36-year-old Junior Chery was driving a 2001 Toyota Sequoia westbound on I-75 when he lost control of his vehicle. Chery traveled off the road before the SUV overturned and came to rest in the median. Two passengers in Chery's vehicle, 66-year-old Marie Chery and 81-year-old Marie Dorange, died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. Cape Coral, FL - At Least 2 Injured in Pelican Boulevard Rollover Crash

A rollover crash in Cape Coral sent two people to the hospital on Saturday, October 12th. The crash happened on Pelican Boulevard. According to reports from the scene, a black sedan was traveling southbound on Pelican at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle near the intersection with the Mohawk Parkway. The car continued traveling several hundred feet over the northbound lanes of Pelican before it rolled over and crashed into a berm near the Pelican Soccer Complex. Read More

Miami, FL - 1 Hospitalized Following Rollover Crash on 79th Street Bridge

One person was injured in a rollover crash that took place in Miami on Thursday, October 10th. The accident was reported on the 79th Street Bridge. The City of Miami Police and Fire Rescue teams responded to the crash scene. Police report that a car and an SUV were involved in the accident. Following impact, the SUV overturned. Rescue workers transported the injured victim to North Shore Medical Center. There is no word on the victim's condition at this time. The bridge was down to one lane as authorities worked at the scene. The roadway later reopened for traffic to pass through as normal. Read More

Weston, FL - Couple Killed When Motorcycle Tire Blows Out on US 27

A man and a woman lost their lives in a motorcycle crash on US 27. The crash took place on Tuesday, September 24th. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol 55-year-old Stephen Gardella and 57-year-old Diana Mowatt were riding on US 27 when one of the tires blew out on their motorcycle. As a result, both Gardella and Mowatt were thrown from the bike and into traffic. Both were pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. Marion County, FL - Fatal Crash Reported when Concrete Truck Strikes Car After Tire Blowout

A fatal crash was reported on I-75 in Marion County on Monday, September 16th. The crash took place near the exit for State Road 326. According to reports, a concrete truck was traveling northbound on I-75 when the truck had a tire blowout. The driver lost control following the blowout and ended up in the southbound lanes of the highway. The truck then hit a guardrail before it overturned. Two other cars were struck by debris from the crash. At least one person died as a result of the accident. The victim has not been identified at this time. It is unclear whether anyone else was hurt. Miami, FL - Four Children Hurt in Little Haiti Rollover Crash

A crash in Miami's Little Haiti neighborhood left four children injured on Saturday, September 7th. The crash occurred around 12:45 p.m. near Northwest Second Avenue and 62nd Street. According to investigators, an SUV was involved in the accident. The SUV rolled over following the crash, ejecting one child from the vehicle. A total of four children, all under 10 years old, were hospitalized following the collision. There is no information on what caused the accident to take place and no word on how many vehicles were involved. The Miami Police Department along with Fire Rescue units investigated the accident. Sumter County, FL - Tire Blowout Causes Head-On Crash, Killing Three

Three people died when a car crashed head-on into an SUV on State Road 50 in Sumter County. The crash took place on Friday, August 30th around 10:30 am. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol reported that a 48-year-old woman was driving a Chevy Blazer around on SR 50 when her left front tire blew out. The car then veered over the center line where it collided head-on with a Ford SUV. The female driver of the Blazer and male driver of the SUV were killed a the scene. A 49-year-old passenger in the Blazer was pronounced dead at Orlando Regional Medical Center. A passenger in the SUV was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Ocala, FL - One Hospitalized in Tuesday Rollover Crash on Fort King Street

Two vehicles were involved in a crash that took place in Ocala on Tuesday, August 20th. The accident occurred at the intersection of SE Fort King Street and SE 36th Avenue around 9:50 a.m. Reports indicate that a white Jeep and an orange Kia collided with one another. The Jeep was found resting on its side off of the roadway and the Kia was located in the middle of a grassy median. The Jeep driver was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with unknown injuries, while the Kia driver was not injured. The cause of the crash has not been released at this time. Read More
