Miami, FL - One Dead, Several Hurt in Three-Vehicle Crash on Krome Avenue

A crash involving three vehicles on Krome Avenue has left one person dead and several injured. The incident took place on Friday, March 22nd in Miami-Dade County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a van, a pickup and a tractor-trailer were all traveling northbound on Krome. Suddenly, the van slowed for traffic that was stopped ahead. The driver of the pickup failed to slow down and slammed into the back of the van. The impact pushed the van into the southbound lanes, causing it to collide with the tractor trailer. Pasco County, FL - David Clair Brasington Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Rancho Del Rio

A motorcyclist from New Port Richey died in a crash with a vehicle on Saturday, March 16th. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol have identified the victim as 59-year-old David Clair Brasington. Authorities were dispatched to the intersection of Rancho Del Rio and Via Segovia around 12:49 p.m. in reference to the crash. Following an investigation, it was determined that Tajh Latrail Martin was driving a 2003 Toyota Celica northbound on Via Segovia. Martin stopped at a stop sign at the intersection before proceeding into the intersection and striking the rear of Brasington's motorcycle. St. Cloud, FL - One Killed, Several Hurt in Crash Caused by Domestic Incident

A multi-vehicle crash stemming from a domestic dispute has left one person dead and several others injured. The incident took place around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 15th. According to St. Cloud Police Sgt. Frankie De La Rosa, 34-year-old Andric Levoi Barksdale and his girlfriend were involved in an argument. Barksdale was traveling in one vehicle while his girlfriend was in another. Investigators believe that Barksdale intentionally collided with his girlfriend's vehicle, setting off a chain of events which caused her vehicle to cross into the oncoming travel lane and collide with three other vehicles. Orange County, FL - Two Killed, One Hurt After Being Struck While Standing on Roadway

Two men were killed and another was seriously hurt when they were struck by a vehicle while standing on State Road 50 on Thursday, March 14th. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the men were traveling in a vehicle when they crashed into a treeline on SR-50. Their vehicle was pulled back onto the roadway by another motorist. The men were standing outside the car when a Dodge van approached them, striking all three. Two of the men were killed and the third was injured. Naples, FL - Juan Yescas Cano Hit, Killed After Exiting Vehicle

A 37-year-old man died after he was tragically struck by a trailer on Saturday, March 9th. The Florida Highway Patrol reports that Juan Yescas Cano was a passenger in a Ford F-350 pickup truck that was towing a trailer. The truck stopped in the median of Santa Barbara Boulevard to drop off Cano and another passenger. As Cano and the other passenger stood in the median, the truck moved forward. Cano was between the rear of the truck and the trailer at the time. The trailer struck Cano and then drove over him. He suffered critical injuries and later died at an area hospital. Read More

Groveland, FL - One Killed in Three-Car Crash on State Road 50

A three-vehicle crash in Groveland led to the death of one person on Friday, March 1st. 33-year-old Irasema Gort Valdes was driving a dump truck eastbound on SR-50 when she collided with the rear-end of Buick driven by Derek Smart. Smart's Buick veered into the westbound lanes of the roadway and collided head-on with an SUV. The driver of the SUV, identified as a 62-year-old man from Groveland, was killed in the crash. His passenger, a 58-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries. Read More

Clearwater, FL - Stanley Heath Identified As Victim in Old Coachman Road Crash

The victim of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Old Coachman Road has been identified by police. The Florida Highway Patrol says that Stanley Heath, 66, of Clearwater, was killed while riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Saturday, February 23rd. According to troopers, 85-year-old Patricia Neal was driving a 2014 Kia southbound on Old Coachman. Neal attempted to make a U-turn but pulled her vehicle into the path of Heath's oncoming motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the front of the car, ejecting Heath and causing critical injuries. Volusia County, FL - Good Samaritan Edward Keene Struck, Killed While Changing Tire on I-4

Police are investigating after a Good Samaritan was killed while changing a tire on I-4 in Volusia County. The accident took place on Monday, February 18th around 1 a.m. Officers say that Edward Keene stopped his vehicle on the side of the roadway when he spotted another driver with a flat tire. Keene exited his vehicle and was in the process of changing the tire when 37-year-old Fabian Thomas drove his vehicle onto the shoulder of the roadway, striking Keene from behind. Hialeah Gardens, FL - Two Killed, Four Injured in Crash Near West Okeechobee Road

A crash involving two vehicles left two people dead and four others hospitalized. The crash took place in Hialeah Gardens on Sunday, February 17th. Police say that a Ford Expedition and a Mercedes Benz were traveling near West Okeechobee Road and Northwest 121st Way when the two cars collided with one another. The Mercedes had a total of five occupants at the time of the crash. Following the initial impact, the Mercedes proceeded on and struck a guardrail. Miami, FL - Off-Duty Police Officer Among Two Killed in Wrong-Way Crash

A wrong-way crash on Interstate 75 has claimed the lives of two people, including an off-duty police officer. The crash took place on Saturday, February 15th, near the exit for US 27. Police are still investigating the crash but initial reports indicate that 32-year-old Curtis Woolwine was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-75. Woolwine was operating a black Chevy Sonic. While driving the wrong way, Woolwine collided with a 2018 black Dodge Charger being driven by 40-year-old Steven Greco.
