Citra, FL (November 9, 2019) - The driver of an SUV was killed when a vehicle was T-boned on US 441 north in Citra. The crash happened on Friday, November 8th.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene near the Vinyard Church 441. Troopers report that an SUV was pulling out of the church when it was struck by a semi-truck as it entered the roadway. The SUV then traveled into a ditch and ended up on its roof. Rescue workers pronounced the SUV driver dead at the scene of the crash. There is no word on their identity at this time. The semi driver was not injured.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time.

Florida car accidents that involve large vehicles such as semi-trucks have the potential to be extremely deadly due to the massive amount of force and power that is involved in a crash with these vehicles.
