Clay County, FL (January 12, 2021) - One person lost their life, and others were hurt following a crash in Clay County on Tuesday afternoon. The accident happened on U.S. 301 at the intersection with County Road 218.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Ram 3500 pickup was haling an SUV on a flatbed trailer when it collided with a Kia Cadenze. Both vehicles then collided with a Ford Expedition and then the Expedition crashed into a Hyundai Sonata. The Kia driver died at the accident scene and three others sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The identity of the deceased victim is not available at this time.
There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed. No additional details regarding the crash are available at this time.
