Clearwater, FL (July 11, 2019) - A pedestrian from Clearwater was seriously hurt after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday, July 11th. The crash was reported around 9:00 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard.
According to reports, the pedestrian was walking along the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle. Rescue crews transported the injured victim to Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg. There is no update on his condition or whether the injuries he suffered are considered life-threatening. Officials have also not released his identity at this time. No information on the driver has been released and no one else was injured in the crash.
Drivers traveling along Gulf-to-Bay experienced delays in the westbound lanes while the investigation was active. No further information has been made public at this time.
