Clermont, FL (July 4, 2018) – One person was seriously injured in a Clermont crash, leading to traffic being rerouted in the area for some time. The crash took place last night around 9:40 p.m.
The accident happened in the area of State Road 50 and Almond Street, according to the Clermont Police Department, who investigated the scene.
A homicide investigation unit was sent to the scene but only one person was injured, who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries so that they could receive immediate treatment.
The traffic unit began an investigation while eastbound traffic had to be diverted to Anderson Street. Westbound traffic as of last night was down to one lane of traffic.
