Clermont, FL (May 10, 2019) - A woman died in a two-vehicle crash on the Turnpike on Friday, May 10th. The crash happened near mile marker 272, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to Orange County Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles, the woman's vehicle was rear-ended by a pickup truck, causing her vehicle to flip. Following the crash, they took her to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The pickup truck driver sustained minor injuries. They have not identified the woman or the truck driver at this time.
They have released no further details.
