Cocoa, FL (March 24, 2021) - A motorcyclist suffered injuries following a crash in Cocoa on Wednesday, March 24th. The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. on U.S. 1 in the northbound lanes of the roadway.
According to the Cocoa Police Department, the motorcyclist was hit by a Jeep Cherokee that was making an eastbound turn onto Peachtree Street. The motorcyclist, who was identified only as a 19-year-old man, was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Jeep was not injured in the accident. There is no further update on the condition of the motorcyclist at this time.
