Collier County, FL (July 6, 2021) - A 24-year-old woman is dead following a single-vehicle accident in Collier County. The crash happened just after 6:00 p.m. on Westclox Street.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene. According to reports from the scene, a 24-year-old man was driving a vehicle on Westclox when he approached a curve. The man failed to navigate the curve and traveled off the road. The car struck some vegetation and overturned, coming to rest on its roof. A 24-year-old female passenger was ejected from the vehicle. She died at the scene. The woman's identity has not been released at this time. There is no word on whether the man was injured.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. No additional information is available.
