Collier County, FL (April 19, 2021) - Police in Collier County responded to the scene of an injury crash on Monday morning. The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Interstate 75 near mile marker 102.
According to officials, a Jeep and a semi-truck were involved in the accident. Emergency crews responded to the scene and treated at least one person for injuries as a result of the collision. There is no word at this time on the extent of the victim's condition. The accident caused the northbound lanes to be closed for several hours until they reopened around 1:00 p.m. There is no information on the identities of those involved.
