Collier County, NC (April 27, 2021) - Two motorcyclists were hospitalized following an accident that took place in Collier County over the weekend. The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 41 near Turner Road.
According to a report, the injured motorcyclists were seriously hurt in the accident when the rider lost control of the bike. One of the riders was taken to Kendall Regional Hospital by helicopter while the other was transported to NCH Downtown via ambulance. There is no further update on their conditions at this time. Police are still investigating the accident. The identities of the victims are not known and it is not clear if any charges are expected to be filed.
