Each year, there are over 250,000 accidents reported across the state of Florida. While many of these accidents will occur on streets and highways, some of them will occur in parking lots and other less common areas.
In this crash, the driver who mistakenly pressed the gas rather than the brakes would likely be held responsible for their actions. When an innocent person is injured due to any type of negligence, that person is entitled to bring a personal injury claim against the responsible driver.
