An accident left a pedestrian dead yesterday in Jackson County, Florida. At the time of the accident, the 73-year-old pedestrian, who has not yet been named, was headed west and crossing a street. He was hit by a Toyota Camry on Sixth Street.
The driver has been identified as 28-year-old Courtney Shouppe from Cottondale. When she made an impact with the pedestrian, her vehicle came to a stop.
The pedestrian died at the scene of the accident due to his injuries.
