De Funiak Springs, FL (September 13, 2018) - A motorcyclist suffered injuries in a wrong-way crash that occurred in De Funiak Springs. The crash occurred on Wednesday, September 13th.
Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash. According to reports, 67 year old John Parish was riding his motorcycle northbound on State Road 285 near Green Acres Drive. At the same time, a silver sedan driven by 52 year old John Bartlett was traveling southbound in the northbound lane. Bartlett's vehicle collided head-on with Parish's motorcycle.
Parish sustained serious injuries and was transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. Bartlett was not hurt in the crash. FHP is still investigating the collision but alcohol was apparently not a factor.
