Deerfield Beach, FL (January 28, 2019) - A crash between two vehicles in Deerfield Beach left one person dead and two seriously hurt. The crash happened around 8:00 am on Monday, January 28th in the northbound lanes of I-95. The Broward County Sheriff's Office along with the Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services were among the first responders on scene.
The two vehicles appeared to catch fire following the collision. The injured victims were taken to the trauma unit at Broward Health North. There has been no update provided on their condition. The deceased victim has also not been identified pending next-of-kin notification. Police offered no immediate word on the cause of the crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol has taken over the crash investigation.
