Hit-and-run crashes in Florida can have devastating consequences. These crashes account for about 25% of all total accidents. This is an astounding number considering that there are approximately 100,000 reported hit-and-run collisions in our state every year. Drivers who choose to flee the scene of a crash will face both civil and criminal liability once they are apprehended. Unfortunately, these crashes can leave victims suffering from serious, life-changing injuries.
Our sympathies go out to the victim in this Delray Beach crash and we hope for a complete recovery from her injuries.
