Deltona, FL (October 30, 2019) - Two motorcyclists were killed in a crash in Deltona on Tuesday, October 29th. The crash took place around 10:20 p.m. on State Road 415.
According to reports, 20-year-old Kaily Blankenship was traveling northbound in a 1998 Honda when she attempted to pass a 2002 Dodge pickup truck driven by 17-year-old Kristijan Lasic of Port Orange. As Blankenship traveled into the passing lane, she collided with two Kawasaki motorcycles traveling southbound on SR 415. The motorcyclists, identified as two men ages 27 and 54, were pronounced dead at the crash scene. Neither has been identified at this time.
The crash is still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
