Dolores Gunby, a 68-year-old, lost her life in another Florida pedestrian accident. Florida Highway Patrol said that the case is officially a hit-and-run accident that took place yesterday morning. The accident took place near Discovery Way in Jacksonville.
68-year-old Gunby was struck and killed when she was trying to cross the road. Another pedestrian was also injured but only suffered from minor injuries.
The driver fled the scene immediately after the collision. However, it is believed that the suspect was driving a 2016-18 Honda Civic at the time. It is also believed that the vehicle probably has moderate damage to the right front, and possibly a damaged headlight.
