Dover, FL (October 2, 2019) - A 41-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Dover on Wednesday, October 2nd. The crash took place on State Road 574.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene. Troopers report that the man, who has not been identified, was walking northbound on SR 574 when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle driven by a 19-year-old woman from Plant City. The driver has also not been identified at this time. The crash caused the road to be closed for a period of time as investigators were on the scene.
No further details have been released.
