In Polk County around 6 a.m. on Friday, a fatal truck accident took place when a single commercial truck drifted onto the grass median. Witnesses were at the scene.
The incident took place on the eastbound lanes of Highway 60 on Hadden Road when the 2016 Hino truck was hauling metal building supplies and seemingly lose control. The driver rolled the vehicle over onto its roof when he tried to correct it. This pinned the driver inside the vehicle.
The name of the victim has not yet been released, but he was killed at the scene.
