A Florida City car rollover accident happened this week in Florida City, causing a Miami-Dade police officer to respond. The police and Florida Highway Patrol were responding to the crash that caused a vehicle to be partially submerged in water off the side of the road just south of Florida City. There was an altercation involving the police officer’s Taser when the officer suddenly shot and injured the man involved in the crash early yesterday morning.
The shooting victim has not been identified by they were airlifted to Jackson South Hospital in stable but critical condition. The officer was uninjured in the incident.
