Fort Lauderdale, FL (May 12, 2021) - A motorcyclist is dead following a crash that took place in Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, May 12th. The incident took place just after 4:00 p.m. on Northeast 16th Street near Federal Highway.
According to a report, the collision involved the motorcycle and another vehicle. There is no word on the events leading up to the crash at this time. Rescue crews arrived at the scene and pronounced the motorcyclist dead as a result of their injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. The road was closed near the crash as police conducted an investigation. Motorists were advised to avoid the area.
