Fort Myers, FL (January 8, 2020) - Two people were killed when a car crashed into a tree in Fort Myers. The crash was reported around 1:44 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8th.
According to reports, 19-year-old Porter Danforth White was driving northbound in a Volkswagen Golf. White lost control of the car, struck a concrete median and then crashed into a tree. Both White and his passenger, 20-year-old Brendan Matthew Belcher, died as a result of the collision. Police are still working to determine the cause of the accident. At this time, alcohol has been ruled out as a factor.

A deadly accident is a truly heartbreaking experience for friends and loved ones left behind to deal with the aftermath of the crash.
