Fort Myers, FL (July 21, 2021) - Police in Fort Myers responded to the scene of a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Tuesday, July 20th. The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. on Cleveland Avenue near Winkler and Hill Avenues.
According to reports, a pedestrian was walking near the scene when they were hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, was rushed to a local hospital where they died as a result of their injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Police are still conducting an investigation at this time. There is no further information available.
