Fort Myers, FL (August 14, 2019) - A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car in Fort Myers. The crash took place on Tuesday, August 13th, at the intersection of Colonial Boulevard and Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard.
The Fort Myers Police Department responded to the scene. The injured pedestrian was found in the roadway. He was conscious but suffering from injuries suffered the crash. Rescue workers took him to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment. There is no additional information on his condition at this time. Police have not released any information on the vehicle involved in the crash or whether anyone else was hurt.
