Fort Myers, FL (June 5, 2021) - Two cars were involved in a crash that occurred on Saturday, June 5 in Fort Myers. The accident happened at the intersection of Fowler Street and Canal Street.
Police say that two cars collided in a T-bone style crash in the intersection. One vehicle had a single occupant while the second vehicle contained a family with three children. The three children in the second vehicle suffered unknown injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. There is no word on the events leading up to the accident at this time. The crash resulted in the road being temporarily closed to traffic.
An investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
