Gainesville, FL (September 25, 2019) - A two-vehicle crash in Gainesville left seven people hurt on Tuesday, September 24th. The crash happened at the intersection of Northwest 13th Street and Northwest 39th Avenue.
According to reports, a white pickup truck and a Honda Civic were involved in the accident. One person was trapped inside the truck and two were trapped inside the Civic following the accident. The three victims were extricated by fire rescue personnel. Two people were taken to UF Health Shands in critical condition while five others were also hurt but their conditions are unknown. There is no information on what led to the crash and the victims involved have not been identified at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
