Hit-and-run crashes continue to pose major problems in Florida. In 2019, more than 100,000 hit-and-run accidents were reported and hit-and-run collisions were responsible for about 20% of all reported Florida car accidents. Although drivers are legally required to remain at the accident scene, many choose to flee in an effort to avoid taking responsibility for a serious crash.
Our thoughts and most sincere condolences are with the victim's family following this hit-and-run crash in Hendry County.
