Hernando County, FL (June 7, 2019) - A serious crash has been reported on Interstate 75. The accident took place on Wednesday, June 5th near State Road 50.
According to reports, the crash originated in the southbound lanes of the roadway during the morning rush hour commute. There is no word on the exact extent of the injuries involved. At least one car sustained heavy damage from the collision. Several emergency vehicles, along with a medical helicopter, could be seen at the crash site. Police did not give any details on how the accident took place. The crash caused long delays between State Road and State Road 52, as traffic was down to one lane.
