Hernando, FL (July 12, 2021) - A 49-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash that took place in Hernando on Sunday, July 11th. The accident happened along County Line Road near Ruskin Avenue.
Police say that a 74-year-old female from South Rockwood, MI was driving a sedan eastbound on County Line when she moved into the left turn lane. The sedan driver attempted to make a turn onto Ruskin when she turned into the path of a motorcycle that was traveling westbound on County Line. The motorcyclist struck the right front of the sedan. He was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His identity was not immediately released.
