Hialeah, FL (May 12, 2019) - One person died in a two-car crash that took place on Saturday, May 11th. The accident occurred at the intersection of East 29th Street and East Eighth Avenue.
Officials with the Hialeah Fire Rescue responded to the scene. Both vehicles caught fire following the crash. The deceased victim was found inside one of the burned cars. There is no word on what caused the crash to occur. No other individuals were treated for injuries as a result of the crash. Police have not identified the victim at this time.
The crash caused the road to be closed for a period of time while an investigation was ongoing. No additional details have been released.
