Hialeah, FL (March 25, 2021) - Two people were injured following a crash involving a motorcycle in Hialeah on Thursday, March 25th. The accident took place around 11:00 a.m. on the Florida's Turnpike near Northwest 170th Street.
According to officials with the Florida Highway Patrol, a motorcycle was riding southbound on the Turnpike when the bike crashed. The male driver and his female passenger were ejected and landed in the roadway. Both occupants were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The crash caused all lanes of the roadway to be blocked. Motorists were advised to find alternate routes of travel and to avoid the area if possible.
The identities of those involved have not been released.
