Highlands County, FL (November 2, 2018) - Authorities have identified a Bradenton chiropractor as one of the victims in a fatal helicopter crash that occurred on Tuesday, October 30th.
52-year-old Christopher Brugger and 45-year-old Christopher Lord died in the crash. Lord was the owner of the gyroplane that crashed into a mobile home park, killing both men on board. Brugger was a well-known chiropractor in Bradenton who had an office on 20th Street for a number of years.
In addition to the fatalities of Brugger and Lord, a man on the ground also suffered burns from the crash and was treated at a local hospital.
The crash is still under investigation and authorities have yet to determine a cause.
When an aviation accident takes place, authorities must consider all factors, including pilot error, weather conditions, and potential aircraft malfunction among other things. The ultimate conclusion will determine whether those injured in the crash may recover for personal injuries sustained.
