Hillsborough County, FL (June 28, 2019) - A car crashed into a Hillsborough County business, leaving five people injured on Wednesday, June 26th.
The crash happened at the Watch Doctor store in Tampa. According to Marco Ramirez, an employee of the business, the car crashed through the front wall. Ramirez heard a loud sound and witnessed a person flying backward through the air. A total of five people inside the business were hurt as a result of the incident. Fortunately, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The victims have not been identified at this time.
Police believe that the crash may have been caused when the driver hit the gas instead of the brake. An investigation remains ongoing at this time.
Sometimes, a car accident takes place at the most unexpected times. In this case, those who were affected were not even on the roadway or behind the wheel of a vehicle themselves. Regardless of where a crash occurs, a driver’s automobile insurance policy will still apply when their negligent acts have caused harm to innocent third parties. Our thoughts go out to the injured party at this time, with the hopes that they will receive a full recovery from their injuries.
