Two people lost their lives in a hit-and-run accident that happened last night in Pensacola, including an 8-month-old child.
At the time of the accident, three people were crossing the street on Cervantes Street when they were suddenly struck by a speeding vehicle. 8-month-old Neariaah Ikerria Williams and a family friend, 28-year-old Nephateria Monique, died at the scene. The child’s mother sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The vehicle was identified as either a Dodge Challenger or Charger. The vehicle was struck in the side mirror and it might be missing. Police are still searching.
