In 2016, Florida experienced more than 10,000 motorcycle crashes throughout the state. More than 8,000 injuries occurred as a result of these crashes for an injury rate exceeding 80%. In addition, there was an excess of 500 fatalities. Motorcycle crashes account for some of the most deadly and catastrophic collisions that occur on our roadways each day. Sadly, many of these crashes are not the fault of the motorcyclist, but rather the negligent driving of another motorist.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family of the victim in this fatal crash in Holiday.
