Holiday, FL (December 5, 2018) - A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run that took place in Holiday on Tuesday, December 4th. Police say that the crash occurred on Flora Avenue, near Brightwell Drive around 6:15 pm.
Officers responded to the scene and located 59-year-old Shawn Clement suffering from critical injuries. Clement was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead. It was apparent to police that Clement had been struck by a vehicle and that the vehicle had fled the scene prior to officers' arrival.
Police are looking for the suspect vehicle in this accident. No information regarding the make or model of the car have been released. Anyone with information on this crash is asked to call the Florida Highway Patrol at 813-558-1800 or *FHP.
