Hollywood, FL (August 26, 2021) - Police in Hollywood are investigating following a hit-and-run crash that took place on Tuesday, August 24th. The accident happened just before 6:00 a.m. in the 5600 block of Johnson Street.
According to a report from the Hollywood Police Department, a Jeep was traveling eastbound on Johnson Street when the driver tried to make a left turn. The Jeep collided with a woman who was riding a scooter eastbound on Johnson. The female scooter driver suffered severe leg injuries in the crash. The Jeep driver fled the scene before police could arrive. The car is believed to be a 2006-2016 Compass model. There is no further description available.
