Hollywood, FL (March 9, 2019) - Five vehicles were involved in a large crash on Interstate 95 on Friday, March 9th. According to Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Alvaro Feola, the crash happened in the southbound lanes just before 10:00 p.m.
The crash, which involved four cars and a tractor-trailer, caused traffic to back up near the scene. Several injuries were reported in the accident, although the nature and extent of the injuries were not immediately known. Authorities were forced to close the roadway while they worked at the crash scene. There was no word on how the crash took place or what charges are expected to be issued.
No additional details surrounding the crash were released.
