Hudon, FL (December 15, 2020) - A 61-year-old man from Hudson was killed in a crash involving his motorcycle and semitrailer on Tuesday, December 15th. The crash happened around 4:40 p.m. on U.S. Highway 19 near the intersection with Tower Drive.
According to a report from the scene, a 43-year-old man from Spring Hill was traveling northbound on U.S. 19 when he tried to make a U-Turn at the intersection with Tower. The truck collided with an oncoming motorcycle driven by the 61-year-old man. The motorcyclist suffered critical injuries and died at the scene. The driver of the semitrailer stopped at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Neither of the drivers has been identified.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time. There is no further information available.
